Detroit Area Fishing Report

4-18-21 Detroit River
Fishing on the River has been different than normal. It’s still good if you can find them but the fish seem to be in shallow water 6-15 FOW. Not in the main deep water channels. Smaller jigs and plastics seem to work better. Casting and jigging them back is out producing vertical jigging. I think it has. A lot to do with the clean water. Also a fluorocarbon leader is helping. Paddle tails and 3/8 or 1/2 oz jigs. Call Bryan Buist at 2 B Caught charters
