Houghton Lake Fishing Report

3-13-24 Houghton Lake
Well, with all the warm weather, the lake is wide open, and some fish are beginning to bite. Will have some up-and-down weather for sure for the next couple weeks. If you’re willing to brave some chilly weather, there should be good Walleye and pan fishing. Remember walleye season closes shortly . The Crappie and bluegill should buy readily all the rest of this month and through April. It’s too bad we miss the ice fishing season for the most part but at least we can get out on open water.
