Houghton Lake Fishing Report

Fishing Report -12/28/20 Houghton Lake. Well the ice fishing season has started on Houghton Lake. There's pretty much safe ice throughout the whole lake and there's been quite a bit of traffic. The best bites seems to be for panfish and northern pike. East Bay has been the best, and it seems like you want to fish in and around the edges of the older weed beds. Fishing with jigging Spoons and blues has been good on a dead stick for northerns. While teardrops and wax worms seems to be the ticket for the better bluegills. Get out there and fish there's lots of good fishing to head.
