Fishing season is now in full on "get out and go" mode. The warmer weather has got the bite firing on all cylinders in the greater Jackson area. Tom at Knutson's is ready to check in your fish during the season long contest. The fish are following all the rules now that the warmth has settled in. Panfish are in the shallows and starting to think about bedding. As always there's lots of ways to catch them, from worms under bobbers to small Beatlespins or pinky jigs. The Bass are also starting to get to the shorelines in numbers. Remember to release them quickly during this early part of the year. Walleye should continue to improve with the stable weather. One of the best ways to get them now is in the early mornings or evenings under a slip float and a minnow. Casting jigs and minnows is also great, but be ready to switch to a half crawler soon,
