Great Lakes Bay Region Fishing Report

May 13th, 2025

5-13-25 Saginaw Bay fishing report. It's on! Great post spawn fishing right now. Limit catches on many boats. Water temperature is in the mid 50's. Shallow bite from 6 to 14 foot in many areas of the Bay. Some fish are also in that mid water depths. 15 to 20 feet. Baits size is now smaller. PWC Lites, Flicker Shads, Flicker Minnows, 4 inches and smaller as the bait is that size. Trolling speeds range from 1.6 to 2.3 with the water warming. Spinners with crawlers have also been producing. Watch the wind forecast and pick your days. Mother nature is still throwing us curveballs with lots of NE winds. I still have some open days if you want to put some great walleye in the freezer.
