Kesagami Wildlife
The Kesagami wilderness teems with Canadian wildlife  birds (eagles, ospreys, loons,  whisky jacks , geese, ducks, ravens), mammals (moose, woodland caribou, wolves, lynx, black bears, snowshoe hares, beaver, marten), and, of course, fish (walleyes, northern pike, whitefish). For nature photography or wildlife viewing, it is hard to imagine a site more bounteous than the Kesagami area.

Seasonal Weather
Kesagami lies within the sub-Arctic wilderness, making variable weather a common experience. Throughout the summer, the region generally experiences warm temperatures, sunny skies, and occasional showers. Summer breezes and cool evenings moderate the climate, making it most enjoyable.
