Well, the spring bite is officially on on Hamlin Lake. My friend, Bryan Edwards and his wife and kids spent a week vacationing on Hamlin Lake. As you can see by the pictures, the bluegill and bass fishing was fantastic. Lots of big bluegill and plenty of bass to keep the kids and the adults happy . Casting rubber worms along the weed edges works great for catching the bass. When it comes to those big bluegill bobbers and live bait were the ticket. This is an awesome way to spend a week vacation. A fantastic fishing lake like Hamlin close to a wonderful Lakeshore community like Ludington. This is what makes Michigan a great place to be.
