2-3-25 SW Michigan area Fishing on both whitelake and Muskegon has been steady all week and the ice is in good shape. Pike fishing has been fantastic spearing and tip ups are both productive. Bluegill fishing has been very consistent all winter but If your fishing the community holes like Wesley’s your gonna do a lot sorting. Walleye on Muskegon has been tough but we are catching a few on jigging raps 20-30 feet of water. I’m Catching a lot more walleye on whitelake but the fish are smaller with a few undersized fish everyday. Perch fishing is good but you definitely need to move around a lot to try and stay on some bigger fish. there’s a lot of sorting going on right now but I’ve found nice fish in 28’ all the way out to 55’.
