Lake Erie has had some hard North winds the last few days and has the lake stirred up pretty good, along with lots of rain pumping muddy water into the the lake from the rivers and streams.
We managed to find some somewhat sheltered area between cedar point and the Marblehead lighthouse where the water was still pretty dirty but slightly better than other places we looked.
On Saturday we managed to pull 13 nice walleye but Sunday only 2 walleye.
The fish came from random leads and baits nothing set in stone. Our best producer was black bandits @90 feet back at 1.3 -2.0 mph and our second best was Purple P-10’s with the 30/30 program with 2oz snap weights.
The key is to find the clearest water you can but it’s constantly changing with wind changing directions so much.
The water temp has dropped from 63* last week to 57-58* on Sunday.
