Port Clinton to Bass Islands Area Fishing Report

2-21-21 Port Clinton Ohio Most of the days we went out of catawba and had a nice trail. We headed towards the can range and fished just south between f and g can or north of Clinton reef. Yesterday we went out of crane creek and fished around a can. We used Swedish pimples jigging raps and rattle spoons. We had to down size because some days fish were finicky. Most days there was no current. Most of all the ice was 5 to 10 inches. These south winds will open up the cracks and start to make it unsafe. The warm temps will start melting the snow and make it slushy. Most fish ranged from 2-6 lbs with a few bigger ones mixed in.
