Port Clinton to Bass Islands Area Fishing Report

3-29-21 Port Clinton Ohio Lake Erie has been tough this week for walleye fishing. Some fish are still being caught trolling around the reef complex. Alot of super nice fish have been caught in the 28"-32" range. Best fishing over the weekend was on the north side of the firing range trolling Bandits up high!! Like 25'-35' back! Another area that produced was south of the firing range between "F" and "G" can. Best bait here we're Bandits 30'-45' back and DHJ'S 50' back. Water was mostly 41 degrees...look for the spawn to start anytime and the bite to become more consistent as the water warms and with more stable weather. Fishing is going to get very good very soon!
