Lake Erie Shores and Islands Ohio Area Fishing Report

4-11-21 Lake Erie shores and islands.
What a great week of fishing on Lake Erie this week around the islands and reefs. Limits of 22"- 25" walleye has been the norm with several Fish O's over 28". Best baits has been Bandits in Chromes with Blues and Purples anywhere from 35' to 60' back. Occasionally the 80'-100' leads were also hot. Areas to focus on is around the reef complex just outside the range cans, east of South Bass, North of Kelleys and east of Kelleys. Typical speeds this week was
1.3 to 1.5 with an occasional 1.8 catching.
Fishing has greatly improved and will continue to live up to the name of Walleye Capital of the World.
