5-17-21 Lake Erie shores and islands. From Captain Jason Harr from Loaded Rod Charters.
Walleye fishing is going great all around the islands! Bandits are taking limits like crazy, 35’ to 80’ back 1.8 -2 mph, chrome/blue, purples, greens and golds continue to produce.
The Walleye seem to be constantly moving around so if your bite slows down slide around and find another school, the islands are surrounded bu schools of walleye.
Some guys have started pulling crawler harnesses as well 1.1-1.4 mph. Don’t rule out stinger spoons either, it seems a bit early for spoons but we gave them a shot on Sunday and pulled a few walleye between Rattlesnake island and middle bass island.
