5-3-25 Port Huron area
The St Clair River has been on fire! Water temps are nearing 50 and we are catching walleyes, salmon and trout still! Mostly vertical jigging in that 28-35fow for the walleyes. The main spawn is coming to an end and the river is full of males. Limits are being had from Port Huron all the way to Algonac. Colors seem to be changing by the day as the water color has been changing but browns, blacks and purple have consistently been the best! When you’re in the area make sure to visit Capt Pete and Hook One Bait and Tackle located right on the river in Marine City or give them a call at 810-676-5952
