Alpena Area Fishing Report

8-11-25 Alpena area
Fishing on Hubbard Lake was spectacular today for walleye. Captain Nick Dood and I along with his buddy Mark voted 11 nice keeper sized fish. Pulled spinners suspended over the main basin areas. As usual Walleye nation creations, double trouble and two hook harnesses caught a fair amount of the fish. The fish were stacked up 30 feet down over 50 to 60 feet of water. No real specific spot just picked a fish here and there for five hours. This bite should be good for the next six weeks so get on out and enjoy the Alpena area.
