Houghton Lake Fishing Report

1-24-24 Houghton Lake ice update from today. Ice thickness on Houghton lake varies 4 to 10 inches with some darker wet area's I didn't check. Use extreme caution if your thinking of going on any ice. With the warmer temperatures for the next couple days, I would suggest staying off the ice. For the brief amount of time we had some good ice the fishing was great. Pike are running decent size, as are some perch. Walleye are always a challenge but still hit and miss. Report from Cliff Winklers, bigfishandhunt.com
