Indian River Area Fishing Report

June 14th, 2021

6-14-21 Indian River
The fishing on Burt Lake is fired up big-time over the last week of warm weather. Bass are deep into spawning and pretty well getting done. There’s been lots of pressure but the baths are certainly biting steadily. Concentrate your efforts now on the transition areas between shallow and deep water. Spinner baits, swim jigs, Ned Rigs and Zero‘s are all performing well. I’ve also had some good reports of perch in newly emerging weeds in Maple Bay. Perch pounders and minnows are the ticket and the gentleman who gave me this information also caught two walleye on his perch pounders. Get out on Burt Lake because it looks like it’s going to be a good fishing season.
