Cheboygan Michigan Area Fishing Report

Hi John, Here are some pics from yesterday. I was fishing the shoreline areas 5-7’ for depth with a #12 treble suspended about 1/2 way down with a split shot, I caught some very nice fish and also lost a good one. Also, it seems at first Ice these predatory fish are scouring the shallow water areas for feeding. I here there are numerous shanties out on Maple Bay and a few scattered around the lake.
