Cheboygan Michigan Area Fishing Report

1-20-25 Cheboygan area Mullett lake has seven inch of ice with a decent perch and pike bite going on. Early and late we are getting the occasional walleye or two. We have about 4 inch of snow with some slush pockets!  The bite should only improve as the season goes along, and the fish start to school up on traditional structures. I have not been on Burt or black in about a week I know there’s more snow on Burt with slush. This super cold weather we are having on Monday and Tuesday should make for safe conditions around the area. That being said, I always encourage people to use caution as they travel around the ice.
