10-11-21 Western UP
Fishing in the Western upper Peninsula's Lake Superior shoreline has been outstanding all year. Lake trout can still be caught right now in 70ft water 50 ft down on super slim spoons. Whether you are fishing out of Black River Harbor or silver city it seems to be a very very consistent bite. Also, there has been an occasional brown and coho at the river entrances. Fishing should dramatically improve in the coming weeks as temperatures finally start to cool off in the big lake or migration closer to the shorelines occurs.
