Hey everybody Justin Soffa here, the fishing on Lake Gogebic has been solid for about 2 to 3 weeks now. Walleye fishing around the edges of the lake on shallow structure has been very good early morning in the last hour or two of the day. As you all may know my specialty is big perch. The perch bite has begun as you can see by the pictures. The purge is starting to bite on the shallower flats around the lake from 12 to 20 feet of water. Usually doing the best and tip ups or dead sticks with live minnows fished within 6 inches to a foot of the bottom. If you're looking to get out on a great charter contact Justin Soffa
