Muskegon County Area Fishing Report

1-31-22 Muskegon area field reporter Chris Brandt tells me that Croton/Hardy
Walleye are biting in 8 to 10 feet of water again using smaller bait set ups. Fluorocarbon leader set 2 feet off the bottom for Walleye. Best bite came again between 4-5 o’clock. The better pike were hitting the larger chubs but difficult to get in on the fluorocarbon as it was only 10 pound test. You got to get out here and do this.
